FAQs - VISA
FAQs - VISA

In this section we address some common questions about travelling to India for the conference.

All international participants attending the conference are required to obtain a Conference visa (not a tourist visa). This applies to both workshop leaders and participants.

An official invitation letter will be issued to registered participants to support their visa applications. This will be provided after the standard conference clearance process with the Government of India. We expect this to be completed in late May and recommend applying for your visa in June to allow sufficient time for visa approval.

Conference visas are valid for the duration of the event and for tourism purposes afterwards, allowing you to extend your stay in India.

To avoid delays, please ensure that:

  1. Your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry into India
  2. You apply for the correct visa category (Conference visa)
  3. You use the official invitation letter provided by the conference organisers

For details regarding the completion of your arrival card, please refer to the FAQ section below.
